Cava Jaume Serra is located in Vilanova i La Geltrú (Barcelona), less than 5 km from the Mediterranean Sea in a unique enclave, making it the closest cava to the sea in Spain. With unique and spectacular views where vineyards and sea merge into one.

The winery is surrounded by 125 hectares of vineyards with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo and Chardonnay varieties. In our winemaking facilities, where innovation and tradition coexist in harmony, we have a production capacity of 5 million kg of grapes, with the most modern production and ageing systems, and a capacity of 20 million bottles of wine a year.

We have American and French oak barrels in order to obtain high quality crianza, reserva and gran reserva wines.

The Masía

The origins of this beautiful Masía date back to 1647, the year in which it was built on a walled estate which, since the 17th century, had served as protection for an old farmhouse-fortress which, according to legend, had a passageway connecting it to the village.

The García Carrión family has restored the different buildings that make up this farmhouse respecting its original structures, taking care of every detail to recover its charm. It is made up of several buildings with a central courtyard with a fountain and a tower that guards it. These spaces house Jaume Serra’s shop, the tasting room and offices.

The Masía is surrounded by vineyards, centenary pine trees, stone walls and the Mediterranean Sea in the background. Making it a unique enclave that is well worth a visit.
